Hayes Farm is a small, family-run business created with one simple aim — to offer beautiful countryside escapes and a special place for families, friends and couples to spend quality time together.

We hope you’ll come meet us

Our journey with Hayes Farm began around Christmas 2015, when the farm came into our family. What followed was several years of careful restoration and reinvention. We started by renovating the historic farmhouse and building a private access track to improve arrivals, welcoming our first guests in 2018. The bungalow soon followed, with the oak garden room added in 2020.

In 2021, we began transforming the original farm buildings into holiday accommodation. Over the following year, each barn was thoughtfully restored — from The Haybarn and Stables, to The Calf Shed, English Barn, Piggery and finally The Dairy — all designed to retain their character while offering modern comfort.

Every space at Hayes Farm has been created with care, from the interiors to the outdoor areas, walks and shared facilities. We continue to improve the estate year by year, adding new features and refining the guest experience — always with an emphasis on quality, space and tranquillity.

Caring for the land is central to everything we do. Tree planting, countryside stewardship and supporting local wildlife are intrinsic to our values, and we’re proud to be developing Hayes Farm in a way that respects both its heritage and its natural surroundings.

Today, Hayes Farm is a peaceful rural retreat set within 170 acres of rolling countryside — a place where guests can slow down, reconnect and enjoy meaningful time together.

We hope you’ll come and meet us.

Farm buildings renovations Part 2 – May 2021

Whilst the initial plan was to complete the first four buildings we soon realised the value of completing all six buildings together. The logistical advantages of having the builders already on site and able to switch between different tasks on different buildings was hugely advantageous. However, the inconvenience of having only half of the site completed, with guests of the newly renovated lets having to endure a building site for a year, convinced us that we had to finish all six buildings in one go. Able to finance the rest of the project we began work on the Piggery and Dairy.

An absolutely stunning place to stay. The attention to detail and quality of everything is superb. I would highly recommend and this is one of the best properties I have stayed in. Communication was prompt and informative.
